The Grand Mufti of Australia and the Australian Fatwa Council are pleased to announce the commencement of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
أعلن مفتي أستراليا ومجلس الإفتاء الأسترالي عن بداية شهر رمضان المبارك. نسأل الله أن يجعله شهر خير وبركة على الجميع، وأن يتقبل منا ومنكم صالح الأعمال.
The Council determines the start of the month based on the birth of the new moon. While scholarly opinions may vary, we encourage the community to focus on unity and the shared values of our faith during this sacred time.
يعتمد مجلس الإفتاء في تحديد بداية الشهر على توقيت ولادة الهلال. ومع وجود آراء فقهية متعددة، فإننا ندعو الجالية المسلمة إلى احترام الاختلاف والعمل على وحدة الصف وترسيخ القيم المشتركة.
We urge all Muslims to preserve their fasting and offer sincere supplications for global peace and security. We specifically pray for the alleviation of suffering for those in hardship, particularly our brothers and sisters in Gaza, Palestine.
ندعو جميع المسلمين للمحافظة على صيامهم والدعاء بأن ينشر الله السلام والأمان في كل مكان، وأن يرفع البلاء والمعاناة عن المستضعفين، وخصوصاً أهلنا في غزة بفلسطين.
